Timor-Leste President Lays Wreath in Honor of the Former King of Cambodia

PHNOM PENH: During the President of Timor-Leste's second state visit to Cambodia, he laid a wreath and paid tribute to the Former King of Cambodia at his memorial statue on Thursday morning, 20 October.

The ceremony was welcomed the Personal Adviser to the King, Senior Minister, and Minister in Charge of General Affairs of the Ministry of the Royal Palace, Kuy Sophal.

The President of Timor-Leste, José Manuel Ramos-Horta, is paying a state visit to Cambodia from 19-22 October 2022.

He will meet with Prime Minister Hun Sen later on Thursday afternoon, and the two leaders will preside over the signing ceremony of two important bilateral documents: The Aviation Services Agreement and the Memorandum of Understanding on Rice Trade between the Government of Cambodia and the Government of the Democratic Republic of East Timor.
